Logistik RheinMain – The Knowledge Initiative
The objective of Logistik RheinMain is to strengthen and further develop the profile of the cross-regional Rhein-Main-Area around the core cities of Wiesbaden, Frankfurt am Main, Mainz, Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg as a globally important site for logistics and logistics competence. In order to achieve this, the initiative primarily focuses on the networking of the economy and science as well as on the development of innovative logistics knowledge.
Competence Centre Mobility (KCM, in German)
The Competence Centre Mobility is an open, interdisciplinary cooperation platform initiated by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund, the Hessen Landesamt für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen and the Gesellschaft für integriertes Verkehrs- und Mobilitätsmanagement Region Frankfurt RheinMain. The KCM develops integrated and innovative traffic management and mobility technologies as well as customer-oriented services.

Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt am Main GmbH
The Wirtschaftsförderung sees it as its responsibility to create growth and employment in the Frankfurt area. It offers active and goal-oriented consulting services and follows cluster-related settlement strategies for companies. Its services spread from simply establishing contact to the creation of new businesses.
IHK-Forum Rhein-Main
As a joint initiative of all IHKs in the Rhein-Main-Region, the IHK-Forum Rhein-Main represents the economic entity of the metropolitan area of FrankfurtRheinMain. It advocates the interests of the economy and especially concentrates on small- and medium-sized businesses. In order to bundle all the concerns of the region, all the IHKs in the Rhein-Main-Region are in constant dialogue.

The FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH is an association that is constituted by 24 counties and cities within the region of FrankfurtRheinMain. The institution is committed to presenting and marketing the strengths of the numerous regional potentials. It helps the region to position itself within the global competition of metropolitan areas.
Planungsverband Frankfurt/Rhein-Main
The Planungsverband Frankfurt/Rhein-Main is a public corporation and was formed by the Hessen Ballungsraumgesetz. The Planungsverband is constituted by its 75 member municipalities. Its main objective is to develop the regional land-use plan. The Planungsverband also holds the Wirtschaftsförderungsverein Frankfurt/Rhein-Main.
Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V.
The Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. is a neutral platform for logistics and has around 9,000 members from industry, trade, services and science. It encourages cross-sector and future-oriented logistics concepts, for companies to be more competitive domestic and abroad.
HA Hessen Agentur GmbH
The HA Hessen Agentur GmbH bundles all the non-monetary activities of the Hessian economic development. It helps Hessen to keep and further develop its leadership in many areas. It is an important pillar of the policy for economic development by the Hessen government.
SLV Speditions- und Logistikverband Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz e.V.
The SLV Speditions- und Logistikverband Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. sees itself as a “company working for other companies”, whose core objective is to keep and promote the economic power of its members. Around 90% of all shipping and logistics companies in Hessen are organized within the Speditions- und Logistikverband Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz e.V.
LogistikNetz Bayerischer Untermain
Logistics experts in the region of Bayerischer Untermain have joined to become a “Logistics Network”. They aim at improving the conditions for logistics, intensifying site marketing, accelerating the transfer of know-how with universities and at increasing the exchange of opinion and cooperation.
Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH
The Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH coordinates the central activities to strengthen growth and employment in the Nordhessen region. As a public-private-partnership, it develops regional core competencies, among other things in the mobility sector. One central objective of the Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH is to make the economic area of Nordhessen nationally and internationally public and to market its potentials. Together with its partners and stakeholders, the Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH bundles political and economic actors and thus promotes the profile of the region.

Arbeitsgemeinschaft Logistik-Initiativen Deutschland. The initiative sees itself as a common national platform to develop the logistics profile of Germany. It functions as contact for politics and for the international site marketing.
Wirtschaftsinitiative Frankfurt Rhein-Main e.V.
The Wirtschaftsinitiative Frankfurt Rhein-Main e.V. is an initiative of important and successful entrepreneurs who are based in the Rhein-Main-Region. It is private, cross-sectoral, politically neutral and independent. As a regional initiative, it wants to promote the Rhein-Main-Region in order to support this metropolitan area to remain a leading region in global competition.
